A record total in excess of $1,000,000 was spent for reconstruction activities in Palestine in the sixteen weeks from April 1 to July 31 of this year, it was announced today by Dr. Israel Goldstein, acting chairman of the United Palestine Appeal. The exact expenditures totalled $1,007,225, representing the combined budgets of various Palestine funds.
