All activities of the Zionist Organization of America, the United Palestine Appeal, the Jewish National Fund and other Zionist groups were suspended today while the funeral of Meier Dizengoff was in progress.
Dr. Stephen S. Wise, in a statement in behalf of the Zionists of America, termed Mayor Dizengoff the “miraculous creator” of Tel Aviv and “one of the most beloved and honored figures of our generation.”
