Das Schwarze Korps, organ of Chancellor Hitler’s elite guards, revealed today that the Hamburg-American Line has defied an order of the Nazi Party to dismiss Jewish agents it employs in various foreign countries.
The party headquarters had demanded that the line replace the Jewish agents with “Aryans” and, according to the paper, had been told that it was financially unwise to dismiss from its employ people who were best qualified for the work.
The periodical warns the line to comply with the demands if it wishes to enjoy the cooperation of the authorities.
