“For presenting a false picture of the state of affairs in Germany” a Jew, whose identity was not revealed, has been sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment at Dusseldorf, it was reported here today. A Jew of Frankfurt-on-the-Main has been imprisoned, it was revealed today, for making the acquaintance of an “Aryan” woman in a cafe displaying the sign. “This is a German enterprise.”
The public prosecutor demanded a heavy sentence on the ground that “the Jews of Germany must no longer have anything to do with enterprises marked as German and they have no business entering such places.”
