The town of Swansea, Wales, today banned a proposed meeting arranged by Sir Oswald Mosley, head of the British Union of Fascists.

Recognizing the possibility of similar disorders as have attended Fascist demonstrations in other parts of England, town officials returned a $200 deposit on Brangwyn Hall, pointing out that the risk of holding such a meeting in a place full of famed art treasures was too great.
