Nazis May Tax Zionist Funds

The German authorities are considering a proposal to tax collections in the Reich for the Jewish National Fund and the Palestine Foundation Fund, Zionist fund-raising agencies, on the ground that they are not entitled to exemptions as philanthropic enterprises, it was learned today.

The question of exemption for Jewish charities has also been raised, it was learned. Some Nazi tax experts point out that according to Nazi theory, only such organizations are entitled to tax exemption as benefit the community and serve the German people.
