A crowd identified as members of the National Christian Party today raided and completely demolished the home of the only Jewish inhabitant of the village of Drugenini in Bessarabia.

Led by a teacher, who shouted, “Even one Jew is too much” they forced the Jew, Joseph Swardszebar, to flee from the village with his family. All his possessions were destroyed.
