Paraguay Orders 100 Jews into Interior

One hundred recent Jewish immigrants to Paraguay were today in danger of expulsion from the country because of the Government’s insistence that they be transferred to the interior for agricultural work.

This order, which faces all Jews who arrived in the last two years, came simultaneously with a wave of anti-Semitic propaganda in the Paraguayan press.
