The Colonial Office informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that the ban on tourists to Palestine, in effect since early this month, has not yet been lifted, contrary to reports emanating from Jerusalem yesterday. The ban, effective throughout the world, was the result of Arab disorders which made travel in the Holy Land unsafe.
