Friends of Arnold S. Leese, editor of The Fascist, who is serving a six-month prison term for publishing a charge that Jews practice ritual murder, today started circulating for signatures a petition to King Edward that he be pardoned. Leese, who was sentenced Sept. 21 in the first “race libel” suit trial in modern British history, refused the alternative of a fine.
