After having once reversed its decision to boycott the forthcoming hearings of the British Royal Commission, the Arab Supreme Committee at an extraordinary meeting voted again not to cooperate with the inquiry.

The decision followed an audience with High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, during which representatives of the committee protested against the Jewish labor immigration schedule of 1,800 certificates for the next six months.

Later, the committee issued a manifesto announcing its stand as an answer to the immigration schedule, which it characterized as “a blow to the Arab people.”

Arabic newspapers, lauding the Arab Supreme Committee for deciding to boycott the inquiry, warned the Government today the Arabs would use force to prevent Jews from entering Palestine if the Government did not suspend immigration.

The Arab National Guardians, a nationalistic group, issued a proclamation announcing continuance of the “holy war” against the Jews.
