Camels Clog Traffic, Barred in Jaffa Port Area

Camels move too slowly for the fast tempo of the new Palestine, and so the general director of Palestine ports has issued an order barring them from the port area.

He issued the order after visiting the port and finding that the camels were obstructing traffic.

Arab camel drivers, who stand to lose their livelihood by the ruling, have become incensed and are planning a protest to the Government.
