Work will begin shortly on a new power station near this Jewish town which will be capable of developing 24,000-kwh. almost enough to supply the 28,000-kwh, needs of the entire country outside the Jerusalem district. Although other power stations can easily meet the present demands for current, the Palestine Electric Corporation is understood to be anticipating future needs.
