Dr. Albrecht Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, international law expert ousted as chairman of the foreign law department of Hamburg University in 1933 because he was Jewish, died here on Friday. He was 62 years old.

Dr. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, grandson of the famous Jewish composer and a descendant of Moses Mendelssohn, was professor of international law at Oxford University at the time of his death. He had been employed by the German Government in the Versailles peace negotiations.
