Emir Abdullah, Arab ruler of Transjordan, and Ragheb Bey Nashashibi, ex-mayor of Jerusalem, have privately visited Lord Peel, chairman of the Royal Commission, it was reported tonight, to present the case of the Arabs, who have been boycotting the commission’s hearings.

Meanwhile, the Arabic daily, Al Liwaa, proposed to the Arab Supreme Committee in an editorial a five-year plan for expulsion of the Jews from Palestine and the liquidation of Zionism.

Minor disorders continued. Shots were fired at groves in the Jewish settlement of Herzlia and sniping was reported at the Petach Tikvah colony.

Arab newspapers said that important military maps were stolen from an army officer during a hold-up of a motorcade by Arabs near Tulkarem last Sunday.
