A Jewish merchant, Henach Zicher, appearing as a witness in the trial of twelve young anti-Semites in a Lomza court, was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment “for insulting the Polish nation.”
L. Painsky, a Nationalist leader, was sentenced to ten months’ imprisonment for organizing anti-Jewish excesses in Zambrow on Sept. 1. Four Nationalists were sentenced to six months each and seven defendants acquitted.
