Anglo-italian Talks Seen Causing Drop in Fascist Anti-semitism

The Anglo-Italian negotiations looking toward an accord in the Mediterranean have resulted in a conspicuous decrease in anti-Semitic propaganda in Italian newspapers, it was noted here today.

Zionist circles welcome the forthcoming agreement, since they feared a British-Italian conflict would convert Palestine into a war zone, would spur great concessions to the Arabs at the expense of the Jews and would completely destroy trade relations between Palestine and Italy, already weakened as a result of British-Italian antagonism.
