Announcement by a Manchester Jewish soup kitchen that it had been feeding a number of anti-Semitic Blackshirts stirred the national headquarters of Mosley’s Fascist organization today to an indignant denial.

A statement issued by the British Union of Fascists declared:

“It is quite easy for anybody to wear a black shirt, but none of our members would think of going to a Jewish kitchen for food, drink or raiment. It is the last thing they would do.”
