An outbreak of infectious diseases was reported today in Dzialoszyn, near Lodz, following anti-Jewish disorder in which 40 persons were injured. A representative of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee left for the town to investigate conditions and aid the Jews.
Two Poles and one Jew were arrested during the disturbances. Both Poles were later released, but the Jew, Samuel Zlotnik, was transferred to the district jail. Jews here were aroused by reports of the disorders.
