A German refugee journalists’ committee found today that Dr. Georg Bernhard, former editor of the Pariser Tageblatt, had acted in good faith in bringing charges last Summer that Vladimir Poliakoff had sold the emigre paper to the Nazi propaganda office.
Charges that Dr. Bernhard had acted in bad faith were leveled by Mr. Poloakoff after he had been cleared by a committee of distinguished Jewish leaders headed by Dr. Henry Sliosberg, noted lawyer.
A minority report of the journalists’ committee found Dr. Bernhard and his associates, who started the Pariser Tageszeitung, brought the charges against Mr. Poliakoff in bad faith.
