The sponsor of a bill in the Missouri legislature to restrict the practice of foreign doctors in the state withdrew his backing today because of what a supporter said in endorsing it.
Dr. Harry F. Parker, State Health Commissioner, testifying before a Senate committee, backed the bill because of what he called the flow of foreign Jewish doctors into the state.
Because of this statement Senator Philip M. Donnelly, sponsor of the bill, refused to support it further.
