The steamship Tel Aviv, the only Jewish seagoing liner, is lying idle in Haifa harbor and will be sold shortly, it was learned today.
During the past 18 months the liner carried 12,000 passengers. It was forced out of business on the Trieste-Haifa route by the cut rates offered by other companies.
