Thomas Mann to Come Here for “university in Exile” Fete

Thomas Mann, Nobel Prize winner for literature who was stripped of his German citizenship and an honorary degree from Bonn University, will leave his retreat in Zurich, Switzerland, for a 12-day trip to the United States next month to participate in the fourth anniversary celebration of the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science (the University in Exile) at the New School for Social Research, it was announced today.
