An example of the decline of the Jewish birth rate in Germany is furnished by figures for Stettin and Krefeld. In the former city, there have been 11 deaths and one birth among the 1,900 Jews since the beginning of this year. In Krefeld there have been no births among the 1,500 Jews this year.
Decrease in Jewish population because of emigration has caused the sale of the synagogues of Stommeln and Zundorf.
Julius Streicher’s Frankische Tageszeitung (Nuremberg), blames the Jews for the sharp fall on the London stock exchange last Thursday.
“Jewish manipulators unloaded their shares to spoil Chamberlain’s (Neville Chamberlain, Chancellor of the Exchequer) announcement of new fiscal measures and to sabotage his statesmanship,” the paper states.
