A new wave of arrests for Nuremberg law violations was forecast today when it became known that every German policeman has been ordered to study ordinances relating to the 1935 race and citizenship laws.
A large poster, distributed by the central authorities to all police stations in Germany, and captioned “Solution to the Jewish Problem,” instructs the policemen under what conditions Jews and half-Jews may be arrested for violating the laws.
The poster, prominently displayed in station houses, details graphically all the possible combinations of intermarriage that are proscribed. It also explains who are to be considered Jewish descendants and thus liable to prosecution for such offenses as employing “Aryan” servant girls or displaying the German colors.
