Jewish inhabitants of Ostrow-Mazowiecki, in the Bialystok area, were in panic today following anti-Semitic attacks by members of the outlawed National Radical Party in which several persons were injured and Jewish houses and shops damaged and plundered.
A delegation from the town came to Warsaw to seek the intervention of Jewish Parliament deputies in their behalf. The delegation reported that early Monday the National Radicals had attacked Jews, robbing Jewish shops and destroying what goods they did not carry off.
The anti-Semites prepared the onslaught on Sunday, the delegation said. Jews learning of the intended attacks remained within their homes where they were caught and beaten.
