Subscriptions by American Jews totaling $27,500 for the first 5,000 shares of Nachshon, Ltd., the Palestine labor maritime company, in one month’s activity were reported today by Isaac Hamlin, secretary of the Nachshon Committee in the United States.
The statement called this “evidence of the loyalty of American Jews to pioneer workers in Palestine.” It also lauded the work of Mrs. Goldie Myerson, the Histadruth’s delegate to the United States for Nachshon.
