A farewell reception for Sholem Asch, the writer, was held by the Joint Distribution Committee’s Landsmanschafton and Fraternal Division at Town Hall tonight.
The speakers included Mr. Asch, Jonah J. Goldstein, B.C. Vladeck, Jacob Fishman, S. Dingol, Chaim Greenberg and Alexander Kahn. The film, “Modern Christian German Martyrs,” giving a picture of conditions in Germany, was shown.
