THE POLISH GOVERNMENT IS WILLING TO GRANT SPECIAL CREDIT FACILITIES TO JEWISH LOAN BANKS, INDEPENDENTLY OF CREDITS ALREADY EXTENDED TO INDIVIDUAL CO-OPERATIVE BANKS, NOEL ARONOVICI, GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE JOINT RECONSTRUCTION FOUNDATION, ANNOUNCED TODAY.

MR. ARONOVICI’S ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF REPRESENTATIVES OF ALL JEWISH CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT BANKS. THE NEW CREDITS, HE SAID, WILL BE GRANTED ON THE BASIS OF A RECOMMENDATION BY THE SPECIAL RECONSTRUCTION COMMISSION ESTABLISHED JOINTLY BY THE FOUNDATION AND THE UNION OF JEWISH CO-OPERATIVE BANKS.
