AN INTENSIVE DRIVE TO PROMOTE BETTER HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS IN AMERICAN SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON TEACHER-TRAINING INSTITUTIONS, WAS ANNOUNCED FOR THE COMING YEAR TODAY BY DR. EVERETT R. CLINCHY, DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF JEWS AND CHRISTIANS.

THE CONFERENCE WILL MAKE ITS PRINCIPAL EFFORT IN NORMAL SCHOOLS IN VIEW OF THE SPECIALLY FAVORABLE RECEPTION GIVEN TO ITS WORK BY FACULTIES AND UNDERGRADUATES IN THOSE INSTITUTIONS, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS IN THE BEST TECHNIQUES FOR DEVELOPING ATTITUDES TOWARD HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS IN YOUNG PEOPLE “MORE IN KEEPING WITH AMERICAN POLICIES,” DR. CLINCHY SAID.
