FIFTY JEWS WERE BEATEN, SEVEN OF THEM SERIOUSLY INJURED, IN A MARKET-DAY RAID BY HUNDREDS OF ENDEKS IN THE TOWN OF BRANSK, PROVINCE OF BIALYSTOK. SEVERAL OF THE VICTIMS WERE REMOVED TO THE HOSPITAL.

THE JEWS WERE DRIVEN OUT OF THE MARKET PLACE AND THE WINDOWS OF MANY JEWISH HOUSES BROKEN. TERROR-STRICKEN, THE JEWISH INHABITANTS OF THE TOWN WOULD NOT VENTURE OUT OF THEIR HOMES TONIGHT. THE POLICE WERE REGISTERING THE DAMAGES INCURRED.
