THE DEATH TOLL IN TEN DAYS’ DISTURBANCES ROSE TO TWENTY, FIVE JEWS AND FIFTEEN ARABS, TODAY WITH THE FATAL SHOOTING OF AN ARAB CONSTABLE AT ACRE AND DISCOVERY OF THE BOUND BODY OF A JEW IN THE YARKON RIVER AT TEL AVIV.

THE JEW’S HANDS AND FEET WERE TIED AND THE BODY WAS WEIGHTED WITH IRON. IDENTIFICATION WAS NOT MADE IMMEDIATELY.

A PAN-ARAB CONFERENCE OPENED TODAY AT BLUDAN, SYRIA, WITHOUT THE PARTICIPATION OF ARAB STATES OR OUTSTANDING PERSONALITIES SUCH AS FOREIGN MINISTER NURI PASHA ES-SAID OF IRAQ.
