THE TOZ, ORGANIZATION FOR JEWISH HEALTH AND MEDICAL ACTIVITIES, SPENT 19,000,000 ZLOTYS ($3,8000,000) IN POLAND IN THE FIFTEEN YEARS OF ITS EXISTENCE, DR. LEON WULMAN, GENERAL SECRETARY, REPORTED TODAY TO ITS THIRD CONFERENCE.

THE CONFERENCE SENT A MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY TO JEWISH MEDICAL STUDENTS FIGHTING AGAINST “GHETTO BENCHES” IN UNIVERSITIES. THE PARLEY, BEING HELD TO CELEBRATE THE FIFTEENTH ANNIVERSARY, WAS OPENED BY DR. GERSHON LEWIN, THE CHAIRMAN, WHO EULOGIZED THE LATE FELIX M. WARBURG. RABBI MOSES SCHORR GREETED THE DELEGATES IN THE NAME OF THE WARSAW JEWISH COMMUNITY. A MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED FROM DR. BERNHARD KAHN, EUROPEAN DIRECTOR OF THE JOINT DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE.
