THE POLISH CONSULATE HERE HAS REFUSED A VISA TO OSCAR DEFERENZY, NOTED FRENCH WRITER, WHO HAD INTENDED TO VISIT POLAND FOR A STUDY OF THE JEWISH QUESTION, IT WAS REVEALED TODAY. THE CONSUL EXPLAINED THAT WHILE POLAND WOULD BE GLAD TO RECEIVE A FRENCH WRITER, THE JEWISH QUESTION WAS POLAND’S “INTERNAL PROBLEM AND NO CONCERN OF A FOREIGNER.”
