The laborite Daily Herald declared editorially today, in connection with the banning of an issue of Der Stuermer in Germany, that the main reason for this action was that Hitler’s ambassadors abroad had been saying for some time they were not making progress in persuading other nations that the German Government was fit for civilized intercourse while its utterly helpless Jews were daily kicked, insulted and oppressed.

Hitler especially interrupted a journey to Munich in order to see Julius Streicher, publisher of Der Stuermer, it was stated.
