The biennial conference of the Rumanian Zionist Organization decided today to send delegates to the British Foreign and Colonial Offices in London and the Palestine Government in Jerusalem to appeal for the opening of Palestine’s doors to Jews emigrating from Rumania.

Palestine — not Madagascar or Mexico — is the logical destination of Jews fleeing Rumania, speakers declared. They included Chief Rabbi Jacob Niemirower, Rabbi Gutman and Dr. Samuel Singer, who presided.

Medical students at Bucharest University announced they would boycott examinations unless Jewish lecturers were removed by tomorrow.
