About 500 persons attended the thirtieth anniversary dinner of the Federation of Polish Jews in America tonight at the Manhattan Opera House. The proceeds, at $25 a plate, are to go for relief of Jews in Poland.
Scheduled speakers included James W. Gerard, former Ambassador to Germany; George Gordon Battle, Charles Edward Russell, Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, Benjamin Winter, president of the federation, Zelig Tygel, executive director; Abraham I. Kandel, chairman, and Herman B. Oberman, toastmaster.
