Elimination of Jews from German life figures as the recurrent major theme in a symphony of Nazi accomplishments presented today by the Voelkischer Beobachter, official organ of the Nazi. party, in a special edition marking the fifth anniversary of the National Socialist regime.
Under the title, “Race Legislation,” Dr. Wilhelm Stuckart, a high official of the secret police, comments as follows:
“German citizens of the Jewish race existed once — they will never reappear. Germany belongs for all time to the Germans. The race problem, which here means primarily the Jewish question, has been solved by; one, the elimination of Jews from public life, especially from public office, and, two, measures taken to halt further infiltration of Jewish blood into the German race. These things have been accomplished through the Reichs citizenship law and the law for protection of German blood passed in 1935.”
Writing under the heading, “The Fight for Bread,” Agriculture Minister Walter Darre declares: “Speculation by Jews was one of the principal factors which made the German peasant a pawn in the hands of the Stock Exchange manipulators. This influence has not been removed.”
Dr. Roland Freisler, of the Justice Ministry, writes: “The courts have energetically helped lawyers free themselves of Jewish enslavement. Furthermore, Reichs legislation has made possible the complete elimination of all Jewish judges and the courts have learned how to apply the law for the protection of German blood as part of the German basic social order.”
