A rash of propaganda pamphlets advertising the broadcasts in Arabic from the Bari station in Italy and promoting the Italian cause among the Arabs has broken out in Jerusalem. The pamphlets, printed in Arabic, were mailed to post office box holders, were distributed in the streets by small Arab boys, and appeared on the counters of radio stores and on tables in Arab cafes.
The source from which they were issued was not indicated in the pamphlets. They were obviously intended as a counter-attack against the recently inaugurated Arabic broadcasts from London, and evidently it is intended to issue them weekly. The leaflet includes not only a schedule of the Bari Arabic programs for the week, but quotations from European and American newspapers favorable to the Palestine Arab nationalist cause.
