Meyer “aryan” Under Nuremberg Laws, He Replies to German Embassy Charge

The German Embassy in Washington, commenting on the attack on the Nazi Government by Dr. Ernst Meyer, former First Secretary of the Embassy, said it was not surprised, because Dr. Meyer “belongs to the Jewish race.” Dr. Meyer, in New York, replied that “there is some Jewish blood in my paternal ancestry, but not enough to have disqualified me from Government service, even under the Nuremberg laws.”
