Under the heading, “Jewish Arrogance in the United States,” the New York correspondent of Der Angriff, Propaganda Minister Paul Joseph Goebbles’ organ, makes some startling observations on the American scene. Among the statements are the following:

1– The American Jewish Congress is planning to agitate for the dismissal of all “Aryans” employed by Jewish firms.

2– Jews have such a stranglehold on the professions that in cities like New York, Chicago and St. Louis it is difficult to find a non-Jewish lawyer, doctor, dentist or pharmacist.

3– While social ostracism suffered by the Jews in the United States is not yet considerable, a “systematic attempt” to segregate them may be considered.

The allegations regarding the American Jewish Congress are based, the writer implies, on an alleged survey by the Congress of Jewish enterprises in the United States. “While no explanation of this survey is forthcoming,” the correspondent asserts, “without question it is for the purpose of inducing dismissal of Aryan employes.”

Meanwhile, the Acht-Uhr Blatt, sensational boulevard newspaper, commenting on Chancellor Hitler’s speech in Munich yesterday, warns of measures against “Jewish agitators” and expresses the hope that the foreign press will in the future send to Berlin only acceptable non-Jewish correspondents.

(In his address, Chancellor Hitler was quoted as saying: “We shall soon energetically proceed against Jewish provocateurs in Germany. We know that they are representatives of an international and we shall treat them accordingly. They can do nothing but lie, slander and incite to hatred. We know they would not fight in any war, but only profit by war.”)

The C.V. Zeitung, organ of the Central Union of Jews in Germany, which was suspended by the authorities on Jan. 31 until Feb. 24, re-appeared today.
