William G.A. Ormssy-Gore, British Colonial Secretary, has approved a £50,000 ($250,000) loan for Tel Aviv, Mayor Israel Rokach announced today at a session of the Municipal Council. The municipality’s plan to use an additional £50,000 for a more extensive public works program to relieve unemployment was rejected, he reported.
