Alexander Farquharson, Secretary-General of the Third International Conference of Social Work, announced that Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, president of the Faculty of the Graduate School for Jewish Social Work, and president of the International Conference of Jewish Social Work, was elected a member of the executive board of the Permanent Committee of the International Conference of Social Work, succeeding Dr. Bernard Kahn, managing director of the Joint Distribution Committee in Paris.
