The Kindergarten Endowment Fund of Ivriah, the women’s division of the Jewish Education Association, to establish experimental centers for children of pre-school age, who will receive preliminary training both in secular and in Jewish subjects, was augmented by $3,000 today through the proceeds of the organization twelfth annual Springtime Breakfast at the Waldorf-Astoria. More than 1,200 women, each paying $25, attended the event, which aided as well the granting of tuition fees to underprivileged children to attend Jewish religious schools in New York.

Mrs. Gabriel Hamburger, chairman of Ivriah, presided. Mrs. Max Lazare, who was chairman of the breakfast, and of the Kindergarten Endowment and Scholarship Fund, spoke briefly on the plans for the experimental centers, which it is hoped will be established this Winter.
