Zionist Revisionist leader Vladimir Jabotinsky told a press conference today that the execution of Shlomo Ben Josef in Palestine had spread the desire for reprisals against Arab terrorism “far beyond the Revisionist movement.”
Declaring British policy in Palestine had reached an impasse from which he could see no way out, Mr. Jabotinsky said Ben Josef would be accepted by thousands of Jewish youths as a guide and an example. He predicted that the “feud” between the two peoples would develop into a more serious conflict.
“Whatever happens,” He charged, “the responsibility will fall on those responsible for Ben Josef’s death.”
