Journal des Nations reports that Britain and France are making efforts so that the Evian refugee-aid conference do not arrive at any final decisions and concrete results. The paper also states that the question was discussed between Joseph C. Avenol, League of Nations Secretary General, and French Foreign Minister Georges Bonnet during M. Avenol’s visit to France, at which time it was decided to pursue this course with the cooperation of the League secretariat.
