Eddie Cantor Arrives in England to Aid Youth Aliyah

Eddie Cantor, American radio and screen star, arrived at Southampton today on the Queen Mary for a month’s stay in England during which he will seek to raise at least $100,000 for the youth Aliyah movement. He is accompanied by his wife and one of his daughters. Mr. Cantor will address a series of meetings in London and other cities arranged by a committee of British women headed by the Marchioness of Reading, Lady Sassoon, Viscountess Samuel and Mrs. Anthony de Rothschild.
