All Jewish teachers have been ordered from public grade and high schools in Italy, except for “special cases,” the United Press reported today from Rome. The order, effective Oct. 1, was approved by Education Minister Giuseppe Bottai, the report said. Exceptions may be made, the order stated, “for those who possess national merit or whose families have acquired similar merit.”
