Zionists throughout the world are joining in celebrating the 75th birthday of Menachem Mendel Ussishkin, world president of the Jewish National Fund. The Jewish National Fund here sent a radiogram to Mr. Ussishkin in Vichy, France, placing $75,000 at his disposal “as token our recognition and deep appreciation of your manifold battles and achievements in our national renaissance movement over more than half a century, and particularly in cognizance achievements of Keren Kayemeth, which, under your leadership, has rendered great service in laying for homeland through Palestine land redemption.”
