Professional Groups Oppose Immigration in Cyprus

A memorandum demanding prohibition of foreign immigration to Cyprus has been submitted to the municipal authorities by professional associations. The memorandum follows a strong campaign by the Turkish and Greek press here warning against “efforts of Zionist circles to obtain permission for Jewish mass settlement and Jewish immigration from Palestine and other countries.”
